Place information about your church, ministries, organizations,
and anything else you'd like along with two photos - possibly a shot of your church
building and maybe a photo of your pastor, wife and family. Tell visitors all about
your church. Include ongoing and special events. Every church website should contain basic information about the Sunday services. As a minimum, people will want to know the start times and whether there are children's groups (daycare) or bible study classes. Make sure that this information is up-to-date, and provide the details for special/seasonal services (Easter) well in advance. Let people know what the church believes, in simple non church-eze language. If you don't wish to write your own explanation then at least link to someone else's. (see Christianity Explained page.)
Include a welcoming message from your pastor explaining what visitors
to your church will experience. Use first person writing for your Pastor Message to create a warm and friendly greeting that will invite your website viewers to visit your church. Remember - you're trying to reach three distinctive groups of website visitors:
1) Your own church members
2) People moving into your area seeking a new church, and
3) Non-Christians in the community who curiously seek info about you and what you believe.
